It was only the one night. As for heat, that is still ran off of Propane (LP).

Hey @kelseybang, I will ask about the dishwasher and get back to you, but if I had to guess, I would say no, as there is limited space in the kitchen. As for the mid-bunk room on the 388MBS, you will appreciate the added height after being in it. It does make it feel more roomy and bright. The living room has such a nice layout and inviting space. I would highly recommend you have a look at it in person.

The 2025 Grand Design Solitude 388MBS mid bunk is an excellent choice for privacy and comfort, making it ideal for your long trip with your daughter. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not include a ladder, as it cannot be permanently attached for safety reasons. However, you can purchase an aftermarket ladder that clips over the edge of the bunk's side moulding at a reasonable price. This approach helps keep manufacturers free from liability. Please update us on the frame. I hope yours is OK. Many third party inspectors have found bent frames on new and used grand designs. I love the floor plan but scared to buy it. I've read that they are called Grand Disasters in the inspection biz because the frames bend so easily. 😢

A walk-around bed is definitely appealing, but squeezing one into a small, lightweight, non-slide trailer like this can be a bit tricky. Grand Design is about to roll out another Serenova model (150HL) with a slide and a Murphy bed, which could lead to a walk-around option in this series down the line.

This customer's Tesla came equipped with the factory tow package including the receiver hitch and 7-way plug, yet it lacked a built-in brake controller. To address this, we opted for a Bluetooth controller that activates the brakes using the brake light signal. The controller allows you to regulate the amount and timing of the trailer brakes via your cellphone. If your Tesla doesn't come with a built-in brake controller for your specific model or year, consider using a Bluetooth controller like the one demonstrated in our video. We hope this clarifies your question.

We got the MAX SOLAR PACKAGE, which has a 3000W Victron Inverter (instead of 2000W) with Cerbo GX Communication Center, a 270Ah 12V Battle Born Gamechanger Lithium-ion Battery, Two Extra Roof-mounted 200W Solar Panels (800W total), Upgraded Victron Bluetooth MPPT Controller, and a REDARC DC to DC Trailer Battery Charger. That is a good question Paul. The coach is serviced and warrantied through Winnebago and your dealership, whereas Mercedes services the chassis/motor. I hope this helps.

Hey @djp1234, I think the main reason is that you would have to run the van to use the AC compressor built into the van's motor. With a dedicated roof-mounted AC, you can run it at any time, and it is designed to be efficient and work off of battery.

Hi Ryan, This is what Northern Lite has said regarding what truck you will need: "The 610 is designed for domestic half-ton trucks such as the Ford 150, Chevy 1500, and GMC 1500. When matching the 610 up with your truck, make sure that your truck’s payload is suitable for the camper. The 610 will fit a RAM but their coil suspension is not ideal for campers. Hey Greg, every part of the Ember was used during this test: the fridge, water, hot water, heater, microwave/air fryer, and tank heaters to keep them from freezing. We wanted to make sure the Ember lived up to its claims. And as you can see in the video, it did. 😎

That is fantastic to hear! The Max Solar Package is what was on the Ember we tested in this video.

That is a great trailer. What do you mostly use it for?

The 2023 Jayco Redhawk is built on the Ford E-450 Chassis with the 6-speed TorqShift-series transmission with overdrive. So no CVD on this.

I just heard back from my Northern Lite rep and he said that there is an outlet in the bunk area. As for the AC, the only option they are offering is the Dometic AC. Hope that helps.

@bryan, it does have an outside hot/cold shower. There just isn't enough room in it to have one inside.

If your trailer's water valves are set for normal use (Summerized), the city water connected to your RV will go to the hot water tank and be pressurized by the city connection. So you do not need water in your holding tanks. I hope this answers your question.

@@XxSaLvIaTrIpXx If you turn on the hot water tap and water comes out, that is the pressure from the city water, so no need for your pump. The water that comes out when you turn on your hot tap runs through your hot water tank, so in order to heat it, you need to turn on your hot water tank. The best thing to do is contact an RV Service Department to help diagnose your specific RV, as there are different makes, models, and years.
